Gerlinde fell in love with yoga 13 years ago. She did her first Teacher Training (200h RYS) with Yogalife in Geneva, followed by an Advanced Teacher Training Anatomy and Body language for Yoga corrective practice (100h). Lately, she was also trained in non-violent communication techniques.
Gerlinde loves to combine different styles in her classes, mainly Vinyasa and Hatha, as well as other styles she learned over her many years of yoga practice. In her teaching, she loves to combine a lightness and fun and at the same time going deep. Creating links, connecting and communicating are her main focuses. She always brings her students to go further and learn something about themselves, especially making things easy to integrate in their daily life. A yoga class for her does not stop after the class, it is giving the students the tools to apply in their life afterwards.
She is a passionate teacher and lecturer since 20 years. She is also giving intercultural trainings and was a lecturer in Intercultural Communication and International Projects for university students for many years, where she also obtained her PhD in Intercultural Communication. She loves to combine her knowledge about Yoga and research. Currently, she collaborates as research fellow with the Quality of Life department of the University of Geneva for Yoga Research, and works on several research projects with Yogalife.
